We'll tell you where the swimming is best, where you can tie up to a buoy and where to stay for the calmest, most enjoyable experience. The lagoon at Plava plaža is naturally sheltered — calm water, safe conditions and easy to navigate.
We recommend staying along the buoy line, it's the best spot for swimming alongside the boat and keeps you safely within the lagoon, away from boat traffic.
And when your time is up, we'll be right there on the beach to meet you.
When is the best time to go?
Pedal boats are great all day long, but if you want the smoothest ride and the calmest water, early morning and late afternoon are the sweet spots. The sea is at its most relaxed, the sun is warm without being brutal and Plava plaža is at its most beautiful.
That said, on most summer days in Vodice the lagoon stays calm enough to enjoy the pedal boat at any time. We'll always give you an honest heads-up if conditions aren't ideal that day.
