Kayaking is one of the best ways to explore Vodice from the sea, and no experience or licence is needed. Just show up, grab a paddle and go.
From Plava plaža, the coastline opens up in both directions. Paddle left towards the Vodice waterfront, historic stone buildings, the old harbour and the landmarks of the town centre, all seen from the sea. Paddle right towards Tribunj, quieter, greener, with the natural shoreline, pine trees and small coves tucked along the way.
You stay close to the buoy line, the sea is calm and the route is easy to navigate. It's the kind of activity that suits everyone, and almost everyone comes back with a big smile.

Kayaking is great any time of day, but if you want the best experience, we have a recommendation.
Early morning is magical. The sea is at its calmest, the light is golden and the coast is quiet. If you're willing to get up a little earlier, this is the session to book.
Late afternoon is our second favourite. The heat of the day has passed, the sea settles down and the light turns warm and golden as the sun starts to drop. A late paddle along the coast followed by a cold drink on the beach, one of those simple, perfect holiday moments.
During the middle of the day kayaking is still absolutely fine, especially on days with little wind. We'll always give you an honest read on conditions before you head out.

Just you and the sea. Paddle at your own pace, stop whenever you want, explore at your own rhythm. Perfect for solo adventurers or those who want a bit of time to themselves on the water.

Two paddlers, twice the fun, and usually twice the laughs. The double kayak is a favourite for couples and friends. You don't have to agree on the speed. You do have to agree on the direction.

Everything you need to know before you paddle.
Leave your stuff with us
Going out on the water and don't want to carry everything? Leave your bags, towels and valuables with us on the beach. We'll keep an eye on them while you're out.
Taking things with you
There's storage space in the kayak if you want to bring a bottle of water or a small bag. We recommend a waterproof bag just in case, and if you don't have one, we'll lend you ours.
We give you a timer
So you don't have to keep checking your phone, we give you a small stopwatch before you head out. Paddle, explore and come back when it goes off.
Safety first
Life jackets are available for all paddlers. If you're not sure about conditions on the day, just ask us, we'll give you an honest answer and the best advice for a safe, enjoyable paddle.

Paddle left and you'll trace the edge of the old town, stone buildings, the church tower, the old harbour wall. The kind of view that makes you realise most tourists only ever see the front of things. You're seeing the back, and it's better.
Paddle right and everything goes quiet. The shore turns greener, the buildings disappear and you start to find the small coves and tree-lined stretches that don't show up on any map.
